Day 1 - Arrival in Cochin
Your honeymoon trip to Kerala starts once you arrive at the Cochin Airport. Our representative will greet and escort you to the resort. After the check-in formalities are completed, freshen up and get ready for sightseeing around Cochin. Often referred to as the 'Queen of the Arabian Sea', Kochi was a major port city with a glorious past. The rich blend of colonialism and typical South Indian flavors makes it one of the most delightful places to explore. The region is filled with a number of attractions belonging to the Portuguese, Dutch and British era. This tour will take you to the Gothic style Santa Cruz Basilica. This heritage site is the centerpiece of Christianity and holds a lot of historical and religious significance. It is one of the eight Basilicas in our country that is located very close to the holy St. Francis Church.
St. Francis Church is the oldest European church in India. It is believed that the body of legendary Vasco da Gama was buried here before it was shipped to Lisbon. Tourists from all over the world visit this sacred landmark to get a closer look at his gravestone. The day ends after visiting the 16th century Mattancherry Palace, commonly known as the Dutch Palace. The monument is constructed in the Nalukettu style with a grand courtyard in the center. This palatial structure never fails to dazzle visitors with its striking aura.

Day 2 - Cochin to Munnar
Have a hearty breakfast and leave for Munnar by road. The estimated travel time is 5 hours (130 kilometers). Once you reach Munnar, check-in to the hotel and relax. Perched at an elevation of 6000 feet above sea level, this is one of the most popular hill stations in South India. The vast expanse of rolling hills draped in emerald green tea estates and dotted with thick forests enthralls visitors with its charm. The day is free to explore the breathtaking surrounding on your own and spend some quality time with your partner.

Day 3 - Munnar
Today you will embark on an early morning sightseeing tour around Munnar. The day begins with exploring the Christ Church, one of the most revered churches built in 1910 during the British era. This holy site is known for its gothic architecture style, brass plaques and the stained glass window panes. The tour continues to Eravikulam National Park, the first in the state of Kerala. It is the home to the endangered mountain goats, Nilgiri Tahr. This park is also known for the Neelakurunji flowers that bloom once in every 12 years. Finally, you reach Mattupetty. This pristine hamlet near Anamudi Peak is a visual delight. The main attractions here are the dam and the lake. This is a hotspot for vacationers where they can soak up the scenic views and enjoy the pleasant weather. Mattupetty also offers immense trekking opportunities for adventure enthusiasts. The day ends after returning back to the hotel.

Day 4 - Munnar to Thekkady
After savoring the delicious breakfast, it is time to proceed towards Thekkady. Thekkady is the home to the largest tiger reserve in India. The approximate travel time between Munnar and Thekkady is 3 hours (110 kilometers). On arrival, complete the check-in formalities and relax for some time. In the afternoon get ready for an exciting boat ride on Lake Periyar that borders the national park. This is the only sanctuary in the country that gives tourists the opportunity to get closer to the wildlife from a lake. Apart from tigers, the Periyar National Park is the home to a variety of other wild animals including the Nilgiri Tahr, Sambar Deer, Leopard, Elephants and so on. Finally, drive back to the resort.

Day 5 - Thekkady to Alleppey
After breakfast, pack your bags and drive towards Alleppey. The estimated driving time is 3 hours (130 kilometers). Alleppey is commonly known as the 'Venice of the East' for its extensive network of waterways. The green-fringed paddy fields, laid back village life and the tranquil backwaters make this town mesmerizingly beautiful. After arrival, check-in to a houseboat cruise that comes with modern amenities. A rower and an expert chef will accompany you during the entire journey. Staying overnight on a houseboat is the best way to celebrate your marriage and propose love to one another. Admire the beautiful sight when the boat glides smoothly along the backwaters.

Day 6 - Alleppey to Kovalam
Check-out of the houseboat early in the morning and enjoy a scenic drive to Kovalam. The approximate driving time between Alleppey and Kovalam is 4 hours (160 kilometers). Kovalam is a quaint beach town that stretches along the coastline of the Arabian Sea. It is a well-known beach destination that is flocked by tourists across the globe. Once you reach Kovalam, check-in to the designated hotel and rest for some time. Today, you have two options to choose from. You can either explore the sun-kissed beaches (Lighthouse Beach, Hawa Beach and the Samudra Beach) or you can indulge in an Ayurvedic massage in any of the massage centers spread across Kovalam.

Day 7 - Kovalam – Kanyakumari - Kovalam
Start the day with a lip-smacking breakfast and get ready for a day trip to Kanyakumari, often known as Cape Comorin. This is a renowned Hindu pilgrimage destination located on the southernmost tip of the country where India Ocean, Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea meet one another. The followers of Hinduism take a bath in the sacred water and make religious offerings at the temples. Afterward, you can enjoy a leisurely stroll along the golden sandy beaches and engage in different activities. You will also get the opportunity to visit the 16th-century Padmanabhapuram Palace which is an architectural masterpiece. The beautiful wooden palace is adorned with murals and intricate carvings that never fail to astound travelers with its irresistible charm. The huge Durbar Hall with its glistening black floor will give you a taste of royalty and take you back to the glorious past. There is also an archaeological museum that showcases murals and artifacts belonging to the 17th and 18th century.
Drive back to Kovalam and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 8 - (Kovalam – Trivandrum/Cochin)
After breakfast, you will be driven to Trivandrum, Kerala's capital. The estimated travel time between these two destinations is 30 minutes (15 kilometers). The morning is scheduled for a city tour and later you will be transferred to the airport for your onward journey. You have another option, where you can directly get transferred to Cochin Airport and board the flight. The approximate journey time is 6 hours. Your honeymoon trip to Kerala officially ends here.
